Mandate

To raise awareness and understanding of Aboriginal issues and perspectives within the Chamber's membership and the Calgary community at large. The Aboriginal Opportunities Committee is committed to creating and promoting the employment and business opportunities of Aboriginal people in and around the Calgary region.

• Aboriginal Workforce Initiative
• Improve Aboriginal representation in the labour force
• Link business/ entrepreneurs to Aboriginal economic opportunities
• Increase Aboriginal entrepreneurial capacity
