Benefits of Committee Involvement

As the leading voice of business in Calgary, the Chamber's committees provide opportunities for members to gain greater value from involvement with the organization. Our committees focus on the following three 'key value' areas, which members themselves have identified:

• Network - meet others with similar interests, and forge relationships with potential partners and clients
• Learn - hear presentations and engage in discussions with leading experts on emerging issues, programmed around the focus areas the committee has identified
• Influence - identify critical policy issues of importance to the business community and Chamber members at large, and receive invitations to participate in the development of new and innovative policy solutions through involvement with Ad Hoc Policy Task Forces

The Chamber's influence is primarily driven by the energy, knowledge and commitment of our volunteer members. By acting on their passion and invoking their considerable expertise, our volunteers have come together to make the Chamber one of the most respected organizations in the country.
