Health care spending currently consumes over 40 per cent of the provincial budget, making it the largest budgetary item. Alberta’s health care system is also a competitive advantage to attract and retain workers.
The Chamber advocates for efficient spending and delivery of services and improvements to access, quality and sustainability.
