Health Care

Health care spending currently consumes over 40 per cent of the provincial budget, making it the largest budgetary item. What happens in health care, impacts government spending in other areas and the ability to maintain competitive tax rates. Alberta’s health care system is also a competitive advantage to attract and retain workers.

The Chamber advocates for efficient spending and delivery of services and improvements to access, quality and sustainability.
